March 8 to March 9, 2016 Outside + Stuff 6 miles 1,750 feet gained 1 night

Day three, we took this day to go view Mirador Maestri (Cerro Torre) and then some scrambling up the mountain side to see if we could get a better look. Did not happen. So we did some more hiking around the area before calling it a day and retired back at camp Agostini

March 6, 2016 Roman 10.19 miles 2,750 feet gained

Quiet loop on backcountry trails & logging roads, with return via Devils' and Angels' Rest. Good thing I took my GPS - real labyrinth of little trails out there, very easy to get lost.

March 5, 2016 Karl 2 miles 500 feet gained

After a decent lunch at "the restaurant formerly known as Charburger," the family worked it off with a fun walk in the rain to Wahclella Falls, followed with a visit over to see the giant sturgeons at the fish hatchery.

March 4, 2016 Karl 15.5 miles 2,000 feet gained

Another trip to the dry side, as clouds and possible rain threatened in greener areas. Spent the day exploring the Lost Corral Trail area along the south side of the John Day River in Oregon's newest state park. Very nice indeed! The first four miles, or so, were very flat as they followed an old road. The canyon colors were really popping in the sunshine. G...

Here are some photos of our San Juan Mountains Adventure Tour. We spent (4) days Ice Climbing, Skiing, Soaking in Hot Springs.......oh and drinking !!! Celebrations included my birthday and Bilbo's 40th B-Day. Had a great time with the DenCo Boyz and looking forward to the next outing with Thaddeus Bee and Pueblo Picante.

February 29, 2016 Woodswalker 7 miles 1,750 feet gained

Decided to do a hike up to Multnomah Basin and see how it was doing. We just went a bit beyond the toothbrush trail, picked up some garbage and hightailed it back down to our cars. Winter creek is fine to cross right now, and everything is covered in glowing electric green moss.

February 28, 2016 B-Dog 2 miles 2,000 feet gained

Our goal for the day was Bryant Peak, but after almost being taken down by a loose wet slide near the Bryant Buttress. We decided to play it safe and just head up to Pineapple Pass near Das Tooth. I skinned the entire way up and my friends Jason and Russ were on slowshoes. The ski down was terrible and it rained hard the entire way. The snow was supper heavy...

February 27, 2016 Rhonda 10 miles 250 feet gained

Did 10 miles on the Klickitat Rail Trail from the Lyle Trail head. First time on this trail. Have to say not my favorite of trails I have been on. Don't care too much seeing 142 and traffic while I hike. I tend to like things a bit more secluded which is why we turned around at mile 5. Next time I think I will check out Swale Canyon and hike down that way. M...

February 26, 2016 Father Guido Sarducci 7.67 miles 3,000 feet gained

Section Line Trail to Summit 3 than Tiger RR Grade to High School Trail. Exited via HS trail.

February 25, 2016 Karl 16.5 miles 4,500 feet gained

Spring sprung! We had a most excellent day playing hookie from the real world, while getting the dog entirely exercised in the process. Took the customary route up to Hamilton's summit, enjoying the views and just perfect weather all the way up. It was a bit breezy, as the east winds kicked in for real once we hit the peak. Traversed over to enjoy a sunny lu...

February 25, 2016 Woodswalker 16.5 miles 4,500 feet gained

Glorious day to hike. Wonderful companions and one stellar view after another. Starting at Hamilton mountain TH, we went up to the summit and down to the saddle. Took Don's cutoff trail from the saddle, crossed the creek at the upper bridge and proceeded up to take in Phlox point. Took the westside trail down and then looped back east, crossed the lower brid...

February 20, 2016 Outside + Stuff 8.5 miles 2,750 feet gained

Most of the summits were under heavy avalanche warnings, so we made our way up to the popular Lake Serene and Bridal Veil Falls. Video from the hike

February 20, 2016 Karl 14.5 miles 4,250 feet gained

Finally got back to the Coast Range, and remembered just how enjoyable it is! Day started out far sunnier than any of us expected, but as we climbed the clouds enshrouded the mountain and eliminated any hopes of an ocean view from on top, only to part again as we returned to the trailhead hours later. We started at the Elk Creek Campground, taking the Wilson...

February 19, 2016 Father Guido Sarducci 7.06 miles 3,000 feet gained

Cable Line Trail to Tiger Mtn 3. Then hiked to summit 2, the Hikers Hut Viewpoint (no views) & then up to summit 1. Exited @ the Highpoint TH. No traction devices needed.

Wonderful walk in the woods with Woodswalker! ["What she said."](http://wenthiking.com/users/385-woodswalker/hikes/5783-lewis-river-waterfall-extravaganza) One waterfall after another... Wow! :-) We felt as though we were absolutely the only ones out there yesterday, so much so that deciding not to drive through a pretty "iffy" slide only 3/4 mile short of t...

February 15, 2016 Woodswalker 14 miles 1,750 feet gained

Perfect waterfall weather and a day with a great hiking buddy. The road up to the Lower Lewis falls in passable but really had major cracks in places with large sunken sections and gaps. That basic post apocalyptic look, so we parked a ways before the Crab Creek trailhead. Right away there were beautiful waterfalls, just by the side of the road. So many ever...

February 14, 2016 Outside + Stuff 7 miles 1,500 feet gained

We spent the weekend on Lummi Island and decided to check out the main trail on the island in Bakers Preserve. Video from the hike: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQ9IZO17pys

February 13, 2016 Father Guido Sarducci 4.43 miles 3,000 feet gained

Didnt quite make it to the 4100' summit. At 3644' turned around due to deep post holing & heavy snow falling.

February 12, 2016 Roman 4.5 miles 0 feet gained

Pictures are my dad's, we were testing his new camera for night photography and I think it works great.

February 9, 2016 Woodswalker 5.2 miles 2,000 feet gained

Glorious day! I talked a friend into playing hooky from work and snowshoed up to the Tilly Jane shelter. Tons of views, just a few people and perfect temps. I smelled sulpher from the mountain for the first time ever. The snow was hard packed up to about the burn. From there it was mostly packed. Hood stole the show, but Rainer, Adams and St. Helens were all...
