Even though it's short and I've done way harder it kicked my butt. Snow most of the way up and it's slushy right now so even with spikes there was a lot of slipping. Glad I did it though.

We did a triplicity of short hikes. A brief walk with a scramble down a snowy bank to Yocum Falls. Then Enid Lake form Government Camp and a quick sprint out to ZigZag falls. Beautiful day.

Headed up the main Herman Creek trail. No real snow in the woods but on the trail it was slanted ice. We turned around at Camp Creek, The went up the Gorton Creek trail for awhile. We wanted to go up the old RD 777 that parallels Tanner Creek and see the waterfall at the old Tanner Butte TH. There was still about 4 inches of snow once we hit 600'. We had all the gear butat 1000' we called it quits and headed back to the Toothrock parking lot and meandered over the Eagle Creek and had our lunch in one of the picnic shelters . Great day.
