Sadly, we had a clear view of the Lionheart fire near Jefferson right under the Milky Way. Called in a fire at 6am Monday morning over by Shooting Star Express in Meadows. Got a call back at 6:30.

Wanted to get out and take our daughter's boyfriend and his brother out. It was the 13 year old's first backpack. Lots of stargazing on the most gorgeous night we've had on the mountain in a very long time. As in it was warm and no wind! Whoot!
