I've been working too much, and mostly skiing and climbing on my days off. It was nice to get out for a quiet hike. I didnt see anyone except near the trailhead. Snow floating down all day, it was magical. I took the Vista Trail above Fairy Falls and had to break trail in knee deep powder!

We wanted to go up the old RD 777 that parallels Tanner Creek and see the waterfall at the old Tanner Butte TH. There was still about 4 inches of snow once we hit 600'. We had all the gear butat 1000' we called it quits and headed back to the Toothrock parking lot and meandered over the Eagle Creek and had our lunch in one of the picnic shelters . Great day.

Set out to help with two wildlife cameras. What a beautiful fall day. There were some great sets on the camera. Big bear, coyote and deer at the Elk Meadows cam, and up on Gnarl Ridge, we captured buck deer, bull elk, bobcat plus huge sets of juvenile bear and mountain lion footage.
