Larch Snow Gate to Multnomah Falls

Great day starting at the top with no snow. The snow and ice increased significantly on the way down. We did the ornament trail which is always fun and Waespe and Nesika Lodge which was having an open house, Then headed down to Multnomah Falls where we left a car for shuttling us back up. Between Multnomah Basin and the Falls was super sketchy. One kid had slipped down over the edge and was in danger of slipping further down a a gravel slide that led straight down to just above Weisendanger. Right now even with spikes it's pretty sketchy since the snow is sloped on the trail with a layer of ice on top. Nonetheless it was a wonderful day.
