Hiking to Granite Falls from the Green Mountain trailhead was the longest day hike we have done so far - 10.3 miles round trip. There was plenty to see on the way there, as we passed Big Meadows we had views of snow capped peaks above a beautiful expansive meadow. We passed many small creek like falls and walked past a gushing stream which offered many place...

During a last minute camping trip, we set up camp at Mary's Lake in Estes Park, CO and then climbed up to the summit of Lily Mountain. It was challenging, since it was a pretty big climb, but extremely rewarding with expansive views of the Continental Divide. Gorgeous.

So, we took Tenderfoot trail for a hike just behind the foothills, which provided a bit of a view of Indian peaks, but it wasn't the clearest day. Then, we climbed on and explored the Red Rocks of Boulder.

Road Trip! We traveled down to Arizona for a 3 night camping trip at the Grand Canyon National Park. Amazing trip. We spent 2 days hiking around the South Rim of the canyon seeing spectacular views and the powerful Colorado River.
