James had been telling me about this hike for quite some time so we finally set out to do it. We took Heartbreak ridge up, which was covered with snow. I had some light duty snow cleats that made it a lot easier but when we got to the top the wind had to have been blowing at least 35-45mph and there was about 18 inches of powder. We hit just about every form of precipitation.
