Timberwolf went hiking March 26, 2011 7.5 miles 2,750 feet gained
Amazingly, there was NO WIND at the lookout or even on the way to the summit. Snow was a little higher up than last time. The weather wasn't the greatest, and didn't offer any glimpses of the views along the way. We went up the Old Trail, and down the Scenic. I saw one or two beginnings of some purple wildflowers. Spring is coming! At the top, it started snowing a little, then it became thicker and actually snowed until about halfway down (though it wasn't sticking that far). Eventually, the snow turned into rain. Great hike!
