10.5 miles of hiking • 2750' elevation gain •
Cloudy and coolish day but was a pleasure to hike in! Went with a friend and stopped to take pictures of Indian Point and Mt. Adams. We made it to a campsite just past a small stream/spring, which was just past the Deadwood Trail! Very enjoyable hike and am glad to have passed the 1000 mile mark for the year! We followed up this great hike with pizza!

Thanks Karl! It's been a roller coaster of a year, but I think it's going to end on a positive note. I saw you made it to Indian Point! We started down the Indian Point trail yesterday, but it was a bit icy, so we headed out further on the Gorton Creek trail.

Right at the point, just before venturing out on that little saddle, there were a few very small patches of snow still left. But that was it. Amazing how fast it all melted up there! Sean was showing significant snow at (what I think was) only 3000' only a few days prior!
