9 miles of hiking • 4000' elevation gain •

It doesn't appear to be a very popular hike, I only saw two other groups of people all day, but overall it's a pretty nice hike. It has a lot of flowers blooming right now, but the mosquitoes can be a pain at times, so a bug spray is a must. There was a wildfire on the mountain years ago, so you will be out in the sun quite a bit, so I wouldn't suggest hiking there when it's hot. Snow isn't a concern, you won't find any until the very end beneath some trees, but none on the trail. The only slight challenge on the hike (besides the never-ending switchbacks) is a small creek about 1.5 miles up. It's fairly easy to get across without stepping in it. The view from the top is definitely worth it. You get a great 360 degree view from the former lookout location. I added some photos on here, but I have a lot more shared on facebook, which you can access here http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10150238423509069.330788.500594068&l=4ca2930a3a .

I'd never even heard of this. Do you have any pictures? Was there any snow?
