My girlfriend and I just moved across the state from the Kenosha and Milwaukee area to Sparta, WI and needed a break from unpacking. I spent a week in northern Wisconsin testing out the new DIY pulk and getting my hammock and gear ready for another winter camping season. All went well except for the 40 degree weather and lack of deep snow. I had to use spikes instead of snow stakes due to the lack of snow.
