❄ Snowmageddon2012 day#2 Bummed out once the snow turned to rain, I headed for high ground after hearing skyline blvd had 6 inches. It was a darn slushy walk with the rain and the snow .... The rain turned to snow around the wildwood trail, so I stopped and made a mini snowman. ☃ About 5-6 inches of slushy snow up near the skyline entrance... Snowmageddon da...

It started out nice and clear with some mountain views but soon the rain kicked in. Saw quite a few hikers, many more than I had expected. The lighthouse was cool, smaller than I expected... the abandoned house foundation/chimney and fireplace was pretty neat too. Only saw a few birds... on account of the hunters. Glad I had on my (everyday) bright orange ja...
