Indian Heaven - abandoned trails loop

Very nice photos! We were just up there yesterday, and lots has changed in a week. Much less red huckleberry now, and the berries themselves were entirely gone. I think you nailed the timing for that one perfectly!

Thanks Karl! The the week before this, on another IH hike I figured it's last chance to taste the berries - alot of them were already on the ground. Seems like early fall this year? BTW I "stole" your track to Basin Lakes - really need to try this one... And if someone say Indian Heaven is viewless wilderness, take then up Lemei Rock or Bird Mountain :)

Haven't been to either Lemei or Bird yet, but both Berry and (especially!) Red had views galore. :-)
