Hiked up Cook Hill today, which is Dog Mountain's slightly taller neighbor to the East. Despite the overcast weather you could see a bit of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams. Very fun trail but it required moving a lot of branches since it's not used very often.

I didn't know there was a trail either! You have to park along Cook Underwood Road and then walk up a dead end road for a bit. Most of the hike is on a really old logging road but it hasn't been used much to it's starting to look a lot more like an actual trail.
There were some good views of Mt Hood but we couldn't see much of it today. It was kind of nice looking down over Dog Mountain, I've never seen it from that angle before.
