After going up to Nesmith on Wednesday without snowshoes I decided to go back and try it again today. I turned around at 3800 feet on Wednesday since the tape marking the trail ended but after making it up there today I realized I actually made it to the top! I just didn't see the Nesmith Point sign that was smashed into the tree. Then again, it was snowing like crazy on Wednesday unlike today when you could actually see a view from the point.
I must say, it was a lot easier bringing snowshoes since there is still quit a bit of snow at the top. Want to see how much the snow changed in 4 days? Check out this video I took on Nesmith Point on Wednesday:
A lot more snow than there was today. The two tree trunk "stools" up there were covered in snow but today they were completely exposed.
Also, big thanks to whoever hung my blue pack cover on the tree branch. It fell of my bag on Wednesday and I was able to get it back today.

Great report, and thanks for posting the video. How deep was the snow on top?
I would say there was at least a good foot of snow with a ton more in some places. It was pretty packed and frozen though so it was much easier walking yesterday compared to Wednesday when it was all powder.
Eric, thanks for hanging up the pack cover. I can't believe it was still up there. I figured it would have blown away.
No problem Justin, kinda funny how you came along to find it!
Did you guys follow the trail back down or traverse across to shorten the down hill time like I did? I sank in a few times up to 2' btw even with snow shoes when I went off trail, so the snow was/is still piled up on that back side. Probably a few more weeks before it's really gone...
We took a slight shortcut on the way down but ended up running back into our tracks. The snow was definitely deep in spots away from the trail, especially when there were drifts. Hopefully the sun and warmer weather will start to melt it all but I would say a few weeks for sure before it's all gone.

Hey Justin, that was I. Saw you on my way down, you were with a blonde woman. Saw that blue pack and thought it would make a nice snow shoe bag but it had a hole in it so I hung it up on that snag. Man, I picked up a lot of wrappers on the way up too, nice meeting you 2 on the trail! Eric
