11 miles of hiking • 2250' elevation gain •

After a few Mtn Bike adventures it was time to get a big hike in again and WOW what a beautiful hike! No pictures or description we have read does it justice, our favorite hike this year.

Did you go up Newton Creek, W on Timberline, down past Umbrella falls? How many miles is it? Was thinking of taking the wife out this upcoming weekend. How were the flowers?

We went clockwise, up to Umbrella, across Timberline to Newton and back down. It really was a GREAT trip and even though the lot was packed we only saw a few people all day and had Clark canyon to ourselves for an hour. Beautiful meadows and fun well timed fords, next time we are going to go up Sahale trail instead of Umbrella falls trail... bonus waterfall.
