Went up for the first time today. Glad I brought a rain jacket(It rained sideways at one point). Luckily it was just a few showers and cleared up nicely for the last hour or so. I took the route starting south. In other words I did the loop clockwise. Glad I did because I would not want to walk up cape horn rd. with tired legs. This is not an easy hike by any means. You have to cross two rock falls over loose rocks and the terrain can be steep and difficult at points. Bring a snack and plenty of water because you'll be out there for 3+ hours. I definitely would recommend it!
