Eagle Creek to Tunnel Falls
14 miles of hiking • 1500' elevation gain •
Eagle Creek to Tunnel Falls today. 14 miles. Ran into some PCT hikers. Chatted with one of the group for a bit, Hummingbird(She didn't know what day it was). They'd seen two bears and two mountain lions along the way along with tons of deer and Elk. On the trail since MAY and had around 20 days to complete the trek through Washington. Best of luck to them.

Wahkeena Falls to Devils Rest
6.5 miles of hiking • 2500' elevation gain •
Did Wahkeena Falls up to Devils rest on a Sunny September day. Plenty of vertical. Would not recommend unless you're in halfway decent shape. Definitely and workout. Had to scoot around a fallen tree that covered 20 feet of the trail near the top. No great view at the top but a nice lookout just before you get there. Plenty of waterfall views in the first mile of the trail. Up in a little under 2 hours and got down in a little under an hour.
Cape Horn Loop
6.15 miles of hiking • 1500' elevation gain •
Went up for the first time today. Glad I brought a rain jacket(It rained sideways at one point). Luckily it was just a few showers and cleared up nicely for the last hour or so. I took the route starting south. In other words I did the loop clockwise. Glad I did because I would not want to walk up cape horn rd. with tired legs. This is not an easy hike by any means. You have to cross two rock falls over loose rocks and the terrain can be steep and difficult at points. Bring a snack and plenty of water because you'll be out there for 3+ hours. I definitely would recommend it!
