Came around a corner north of Hardesty Creek and there was an adult coyote frozen staring at me in the trail.
about 20-30 yards away.
Aero was on point, Alert, Silent, Ready.
Looked away to grab my phone after 20 secs, Coyote Disappeared. poof.
Scanned the entire drainage looking for movement.
Nothing.
Those things are ghosts...
