Eagle's Nest

Spending a few days at Smith, I climbed on Friday and Sunday, but on Saturday, I went for a lovely hike. Eagle's Nest is the high point of the park. I took " The Scar" route approach up from the Burma Saddle, but descended on the gentler NE ridge. At the summit, I deployed my chair and had lunch and sketched. Hung out there for over an hour with nary a care. Watched my friends summit the nearby Wombat formation via the Birds in a Rut route. Wandered over to the Zoo area afterwards.
