Started at a busy trailhead along the Ridge Trail. Took a spur to Borel Hill before circling around on the Charquin Trail, taking a brief side spur down the Alder Spring Trail, and then looping back on the Ancient Oaks Trail. After a rainy Saturday, a cloudless Sunday afforded beautiful views from Borel Hill of the Pacific, far East Bay hills, Marin Headlands, and Mt. Umunhum. Grabbed some geocaches and spotted some nearly-ready-to-bloom poppies.
