Where does that trail start? At that little parking lot and then head down the closed road?

And the parking lot there talks about a fee—can you park farther back on the road?

We started at the parking lot and followed the nature trail until the grass meadow then took the trail to the right. If you park up above, you can follow the road, which is blocked by a log, and it will turn into the trail.
