Sammy Sam Sam went hiking August 31, 2013 5.5 miles 2,250 feet gained
There are two trailheads for this hike. The one we took was up Millcreek Canyon. Fairly steep hike when nearing the top. Lots of rocks on trail when nearing the top. The peak on this particular day was infested with flying bugs. We were not able to stay up there for very long because of this, but there was a beautiful, shaded spot not 20 feet below. We sat there and ate out lunch in peace. Definitely worth the trip.
