Chain Lakes

Another beautiful day in the PNW. Headed to the Chain Lakes, unfortunately so did half the state. Started the loop from Artist's Point. Near where the trail splits from Ptarmigan Ridge did some exploring before heading back on the loop. Some snow but nothing to worry about. Water fairly plentiful. Great views. Main drawback was the crowds, and the noise. Sounded more like a city park on a Saturday afternoon than a mountainous area miles from nowhere. Still, it was beautiful and very much worth the visit.
