First hike after surgery for detached retina. Per MD, had to take it easy so headed to Tonga Ridge for a nice leg-stretcher. An absolutely beautiful day. I chose to bypass the side-trail to Sawyer and headed further along the TR trail. Continued on towards Deception Creek but, after coming to the second stream at about 4.25 miles Dibs decided to call it a day and so we headed back. Probably just as well for the first hike after a 2 week layoff. A great day overall.Lots of birds about for the birders out there.
