The trail goes almost all the way down the river My dad in red shirt in this photo Local wildlife Still some flowers, it's some kind of sagebrush I think The evidence that crawdads live in this part of Deschutes River Last time we saw hikers camping under those pines on the other side of the river. This time I checked the river and it's deep and fast - wonder if they got there from other trailhead
