Wapiki Lake is beautiful in snow Strange ice A small lake near Wapiki I called it Big Slide Lake, because it was a big slide to it in the coloir where I climbed to Lemei Rock. The climb started easy but was steeper and steeper towards the top, so I had to kick a lot of steps Hiking along the melted-out side of a "snow bowl" Snow Bowl from above Mt. Adams came into view Another small lake near Lemei Rock Got to Lemei Rock at the bad time lighting-wise Huge cornice near the top of Lemei Rock Strange snowmelt pattern Wapiki from the upper viewpoint This is at viewpoint above Lake Wapiki. Note my oversized skiing poles (on the right) which are about 4 feet long. My offtrail mistake was made up by finding the largest waterfal in Indian Heaven (my guess) @ 4-5 feet high Snow bowl under Lemei Rock
