We headed up Herman Creek trail and camped at Cedar Swamp under a kick-ass lean-to. The next morning to hiked up to Green Point mountain via the Herman Creek Cutoff and Gorton Creek trails. We followed Gorton Creek back down, with a brief bit of excitement that only losing the trail in the snow can provide.
