Fresh snow appeared at 2,400' and completely covered the trail by 2,700' I wonder how snowballs formed by themselves However, the trail was still visible for quite a ways. I doubt flagging does any help, it's too little to follow; on the other hand it's not needed if you know the trail. It felt more wintry the closer I got to the summit Views!
