We intended to take the Blue Dot Trail or the Red Dot Trail but I'm not even sure that we even found either one. We ended up scrambling down the canyon to the Rio Grande, never found the trail, walked along the river for a while, then made our way back up. It was a very short trip, but more strenuous than I can remember doing for a very long time. We ended up having time to drive the long way home, through Los Alamos and the Jemez Mountains, so that was nice...
