Tried to hike up to Nesmith Point for the first time. Went great until I hit 2500 feet and then hit a bit of snow. Once I hit the first lookout area around 2900 feet it got to 2-3 feet deep in spots. Luckily someone had marked off the trail so it was pretty easy to follow it even though you couldn't see it. I ended up turning around at 3750 feet since the tape ended and it was snowing like hell. Didn't want to get lost so I decided to head back down.

Maybe next time. One heck of a workout that's for sure!

After looking over my GPS log, looks like I was only 150 ft short of the top. Ahhh!
