Up, up, and away - out of the fog and into the sunshine! 71 degrees and sunny on the top of Mt. Defiance, a great place to stop for peanut butter and jellies and some Christmas cookies. No snow or ice until about 4300'. A constant ice sheet above made us happy that we brought microspikes. Warren Lake was completely frozen - perfect for ice skating had we hauled up some ice skates.
