A quick hike up to Cispus Pass. The weather was not great, but Curtis Gilbert, the Goat Rocks massif, and Ives Peak were visible. Great scenery- we wished that we had better weather so that we could spend more time there and go down into the basin. The many huckleberries bushes along the lower reaches of the trail and along Nannie Ridge were pretty much devoid of berries.

We really like the area, too. Someday we will make it to Cispus Basin! I am also really interested in the hikes on the east side of Curtis Gilbert as well. Lots to explore.

Great area! Nice to see some of the views from that trail on a clearer day. We camped at Walupt Lake and hiked some of the trails The day we did Nannie Ridge we went only as far as Sheep lake since it was super smokey that day.
