Seven of us camped at Kinnikinnick Campground over Labor Day weekend. Light usage and plenty of empty sites. Monday we hiked to Elk Cove. This was the perfect time of year to do this hike. Huckleberries were at their peak ripeness, wildflowers were everywhere, and this hike is hard to beat.
