12 miles of hiking • 250' elevation gain •

Rather boring hike but was mainly done for the exercise value and fishing anyhow. Would have driven to the trailhead but my car is not designed for off roading so I took pity on it. No fish for me but the weather was outstanding and a walk in the woods beats working any day. Only saw 4 people all day but did see the many remnants of people in the form of littered beer cans on the side of the road. What the heck is wrong w/ people that do this? Does this annoy anyone else or am I being to old and sensitive? On the way out i skewered as many as possible w/ my trekking poles and deposited them in the can at Kingsley. Forgot my camera so the iPhone had to do.
