Beautiful weather, no work, an excellent day for Don an I to get some exercise and explore near by Catherine Creek area. We weren't alone in our reasoning, as exemplified by the huge amount of cars lined up along hwy 14.
It is a beautiful area for sure, I see why it's popular. Interestingly and happily we encountered only a handful of people on the
trails due in part to getting off the trails when we got half way up and making our own way.
